Crunky is a high speed jumping challenge where every failure adds to your progress. You control a character leaping through increasingly tricky obstacles but instead of avoiding death you chase it to fill the Crunkipedia, a record of all your crashes and mistakes. The game loops quickly mixing precise timing with deliberate self sabotage. Each run gets you closer to completing the encyclopedia but the jumps get harder and the penalties for missing stack up. The Crunkipedia adds a darkly funny twist to endless runners turning retries into a collection hobby. While the game’s difficulty spikes sharply its charm and quick restarts keep it addictive. Some players report over 10 hours chasing 100% completion though your Playdate’s screen might not appreciate the elbow grease.
