You can dig for resources in jagged caves, craft gear from alien materials, or take on missions to help local inhabitants. The open design encourages building bases in remote valleys or trading with NPCs across star systems. Combat uses real-time mechanics with weapons shaped by the elements you find. The game supports solo play or teaming up with others for co-op exploration. With no set story or objectives, players often spend hours just discovering terrain shifts and hidden biomes. Since release in 2018 it’s maintained a steady player base drawn to its sandbox approach. The lack of grind makes resource gathering feel more like treasure hunting than a chore.
