Custom Robo GX is a portable robot combat game where you build and battle customizable machines. Players assemble bots using parts that define speed, strength, and weapons then fight on 2D zero-gravity arenas. Battles rely on timed button presses and auto-aim mechanics to simplify the GBA’s hardware limitations. Each match features dash moves to navigate obstacles and counter opponents’ attacks. Customization mirrors the console versions with Body, Gun, Bomb, Pod, and Feet components though performance traits like speed and power carry over from 3D models. This Japan-only GBA title was originally intended for Western release before Nintendo shifted focus to the GameCube version. Despite technical constraints the game retains the series’ core strategy and customization depth. Split-screen multiplayer lets two players battle locally while single-player modes offer standard progression and challenges.
