Cyber Danganronpa VR: The Class Trial turns a familiar courtroom battle into a motion-controlled showdown. Players take their seat in a virtual classroom, using handheld pointers to fire "truth bullets" at suspicious dialogue snippets. Each round forces you to dissect alibis and cross-examine classmates in a race to expose the killer. The PlayStation VR setup makes every finger-pointing moment feel immediate, though the 30-minute runtime keeps things brisk. The game leans into VR’s strengths with its interactive trial format. Swiveling your head to track witnesses and physically swinging your arms to cast votes adds a layer of engagement missing from traditional point-and-click adventures. While shorter than mainline Danganronpa entries, it’s a polished tech demo that showcases creative uses of virtual reality. Fans of the series might find it light on story, but the novelty of participating in a trial as a 3D character holds its own charm.
