Cyber Egg: Battle Champion throws you into chaotic 3D brawls where you pilot crab-like mechs through destructible arenas. Each match feels like a high-octane wrestling showdown with punchy animations and over-the-top moves. The control scheme is straightforward but responsive letting you mash buttons for combos or line up precise strikes. With a roster of colorful pilots and environments ranging from neon-lit stages to industrial junkyards the game keeps things fresh through repeated playthroughs. The mecha designs lean heavily into Bandai’s signature anime flair with spiky armor and exaggerated joints that snap and crackle during fights. While the 1997 visuals haven’t aged perfectly the fast-paced combat and quirky personality still land. A cult following has kept it alive in retro circles with some arcade enthusiasts praising its simplicity and replay value. Nostalgia points for PlayStation collectors but the brawling remains brisk and oddly addictive.
