Cyberpunk: The Arasaka's Plot is a 2007 mobile game that mixes platforming and shooting in a gritty sci-fi setting. You control Sam Gibson, a cyborg killer trying to uncover who wants him dead. Move left and right, jump climb and crouch through environments filled with enemies to shoot or brawl. Collect armor weapons and implants from fallen foes to upgrade your character. Hacking terminals unlocks doors and boosts stats through a mini-game resembling QIX. The game balances action with light RPG elements letting you equip abilities and use medkits to recover health. This title stands out for its tight combo of platform movement and combat alongside hacking mechanics that feel distinct for a mobile game of its era. While the story leans into classic cyberpunk tropes the focus on gear upgrades and mini-games gives it replay value. With simple controls and a fast-paced approach it offers a concise but varied experience. The mobile port brings a chunk of the Cyberpunk universe to handhelds with enough depth to satisfy fans of retro action titles.
The player takes control of a man called Sam Gibson who remembers little of his life before becoming a mega-corporate killer for hire. Now the year is 2022 and Arasaka wants him dead. Gibson has been charged with murder and it's up to to the player to find out why and who is behind the plot.
