You're the lone pilot defending a mothership in a wave-based shoot 'em up that brings 80s sci-fi to your screen. Cylon Attack casts you in a tiny fighter facing off against relentless enemy hordes in a pseudo 3D cockpit view. Each round drops you into open space with one goal, clear the battlefield by blasting through Cylons before they cripple your base. Maneuvering is tight but responsive, letting you zip between enemy fire as you tally kills and prolong your survival. This 1983 release might be a relic of home computing but its aggressive AI patterns and escalating difficulty still feel fresh. Fanzines at the time praised the punchy sound effects and how it recycled Battlestar Galactica's villain design without needing a license.
