Daemonical pits players against each other in a tense multiplayer showdown. One player controls a fast, deadly demon while others play humans trying to stop its reign. Humans can gather ritual components to banish the demon or survive until dawn. They use fire, weapons, and teamwork to stall the demon, which can’t be killed but can be crippled or distracted. The twist? No one knows who’s secretly the demon. Cooperation is key but risky, splitting up hides you but weakens your odds while grouping up makes you an easier target. What stands out is the post-death mechanic where fallen players become glowing souls that can guide allies or mark the demon’s movements. Positional voice chat adds tension, letting the demon eavesdrop on whispered plans. Customizable avatars, procedurally generated maps, and random weapon placements keep each session fresh. With dynamic weather and open landscapes, it’s a chaotic mix of hide-and-seek and survival. Daemonical runs on PC, Linux, and Mac, supporting up to four players in a game where trust is as dangerous as the demon itself.
