In Daffy Duck: The Marvin Missions, you take control of the interstellar Looney Tune trying to thwart Marvin the Martian’s plans to ruin Earth. The game mixes side-scrolling shooting with puzzle-solving and platforming. Each level tasks you with destroying one of Marvin’s five machines using wacky gadgets and quick reflexes. The action switches between blasting enemies and figuring out environmental puzzles to progress. The game stands out for its blend of action and brain-teasing challenges. Developer ICOM Simulations released it in 1993 for the Super Nintendo. Though it has a single-player focus, the difficulty curve can test even seasoned gamers. Fans of classic Looney Tunes humor will notice the slapstick tone and over-the-top Martian contraptions. The retro visuals and tight controls keep it feeling fresh for short play sessions.
