Dark Lords Don't Give A :) puts you in charge of a kingdom under siege by ghost cats while you try to summon heroes who refuse to show up. You play through a first-person visual novel style story where you pick cards for your dark lords to use in combat, but these allies are notoriously unreliable and often forget their duties mid-fight. The gameplay loops between reading funny dialogue and playing quick card battles where the odds feel stacked against you because your champions just do not care about saving the day. The whole thing runs on a web browser so you can jump right in without installing anything heavy. It feels like a meme project that does not take itself seriously at all, which makes the frustration of losing fights actually funny rather than annoying. Players often joke about how the dark lords would rather nap than fight when they are supposed to be protecting the realm from feline ghosts. Your land has been invaded by the ghost cats. As a young summoner of the darkness, you decided to summon the Supreme Dark Lord Goat, the ancient protector of the land. However......what happened? He doesn't remember agreeing to protect your land? What? Summon another dark lord? What? Dark Lords don't give a :)?
