You play as Dave, who spends days exploring shifting ocean depths to collect fish and battle creatures, then switches to running a sushi spot at night. Each dive gets riskier as the Blue Hole’s environment changes, pushing you to gather rarer ingredients while fending off enemies. Managing Bancho Sushi requires balancing orders, upgrading equipment, and keeping customers happy with the right dishes. This version adds a Guilty Gear: Strive crossover with boat skins for fighters, cosplayer customers, and a rhythm mini-game featuring May’s theme. The anniversary package includes exclusive in-game items like a melee weapon inspired by the crossover. Released physically in Japan, the Switch edition brings these extras to handheld and console play. The blend of action and management keeps players engaged, with over 1 million copies sold in previous releases.

Storyline

Former arms dealer Cobra discovers that every time he enters the Blue Hole, the ecology and terrain change, presenting a lucrative opportunity. He convinces the ever-optimistic Dave (the playable protagonist) and Bancho, a sushi chef specializing in rare sea creatures, to open a sushi restaurant nearby. While investigating the interior of the Blue Hole at the request of archaeologist Bacon, Dave finds that the descendants of ancient Sea People—who still live in the deep—are under threat. Realizing that this could be catastrophic not only for the hidden village but for the Earth itself, Dave dives deeper in search of a solution.
