You control Ben the Archaeologist hunting for the Temple of the Diamond Scarab on Wii using the Balance Board as your main input. Partnered with Tiri, an Egyptian princess, you navigate a maze of tunnels filled with puzzles and obstacles. Tilting the Balance Board lets you steer through corridors, collect relics, and trigger traps or traps that trigger. The Guardian guides you toward the exit with minimal dialogue but clear directional cues. The game emphasizes spatial awareness and timing over visuals. This title was built as the first joint project for sighted and visually impaired players. Audio cues and tactile Balance Board feedback help blind or low-vision players follow the action. Available in Dutch and English, it launched late in 2015 but remains a niche example of accessible game design. The focus on cooperative play mechanics and minimal visual reliance sets it apart from other adventure titles of the era.
