Dead Rush started as a new survival horror entry from Treyarch back in 2004. Players would have controlled characters fighting through waves of enemies while trying to survive the night. The game aimed to bring fresh mechanics to the genre before it vanished from stores. It was announced at E3 with high expectations for Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube owners. The project never saw a release date or a full playable build. Just two months after its unveiling, Activision pulled the plug on the title. Fans who heard about it only got to see concept art and brief clips from the show floor. There are no user ratings or community scores because nobody actually played the final product. This cancellation remains one of the more notable lost titles from that console generation.
