Death Worm casts you as a subterranean menace with a taste for chaos. Slither through sand dunes and attack anything in your path using bursts of sand and sheer destructive force. The controls are simple but responsive letting you focus on wreaking havoc without getting bogged down by complexity. Each level throws new obstacles at you from speeding vehicles to clusters of unwitting victims all there to make your violent rampage more interesting. The game’s over the top violence and deadpan humor create a weirdly compelling combo. Since launching in 2010 it’s built a small but dedicated following especially among fans of absurd mobile games. While not complex by any means Death Worm delivers a surprisingly addictive brand of mindless destruction that’s easy to pick up and harder to put down.
