Deep Labyrinth follows two separate characters caught in a mysterious underground maze. Shawn, a teenager stranded near a creepy mansion, and a nameless man pulled into a warphield while chatting on his phone both find themselves navigating a shifting dungeon. Players switch between their perspectives as they explore hand-drawn tile-based environments collecting items solving puzzles and battling foes. Choices during dialogue and combat directly influence which of the over a dozen endings each character unlocks. The game’s dual narratives create interconnected mystery even as they unfold independently. Community guides note the labyrinth’s layout changes slightly between runs encouraging multiple attempts to find all secrets. A system carries over collected items across playthroughs helping later attempts but never removing the challenge entirely. While the DS touchscreen handles inventory and maps smoothly the real draw is reconciling the two protagonists’ fates through repeated exploration.
