Delivery from the Pain is a survival-focused game that mixes shooting, resource gathering, and strategic decision-making. You play as someone navigating a zombie-infested world after a failed medical experiment turns people into the undead. Combat requires managing ammo and crafting tools while scavenging for supplies. Much of the gameplay revolves around interacting with other survivors, some need help, others might betray you. Your choices affect who lives, who dies, and what fragments of the story you piece together through scattered documents and audio logs. The game stands out for its tense moral dilemmas and the way it forces you to prioritize. Characters like a vulnerable mother and her child or a manipulative liar add weight to decisions that feel consequential. Hidden files and tapes slowly reveal the corporate conspiracy behind the outbreak, but uncovering them requires backtracking through dangerous areas. While the mix of genres can feel uneven at times, the branching paths and unpredictable outcomes keep the experience replayable. Most players finish in 15, 20 hours, though missed collectibles often prompt a second run.
In 201x, an anti-cancer research institute announced the discovery of the key to eternal life. In response to this breakthrough, Faith Energy Company concocted a vaccine-driven startup, the “Human X Plan.” However, the vaccine failed, with disastrous results: All infected humans were turned into zombies. The area where you live has been severely affected. To survive, and uncover the conspiracy surrounding the Human X Plan, you begin your journey. During your travels, you will meet the poor, beautiful mother and her daughter in the police station, the doctor at Smith Hospital, the cunning liar, the developmentally and physically disabled man, the jealous beauty, and the twin brothers with distinct personalities. Do you want to see them all survive to the end? At what cost? What secrets will you uncover in the abandoned tapes, newspapers, magazines and files that you find along your way? Will you gain the wisdom AND discover the password necessary to escape?
