"In the end, Tamagotchi World is fine, provided you're willing to live with a number of caveats. The premise is fine, as is the implementation of the jobs in minigame form. The lack of tutorials is odd considering the young age of the intended audience. Additionally, the slow, grindy nature of the game can only keep you occupied for so long before the whole thing becomes boring, especially since there's nothing else to do besides these minigame jobs. If you're a fan of Tamagotchis, then this may be amusing for a short while, but everyone else looking for a solid set of minigames would be better served playing a number of other similar titles from the original Switch library."

Demon Slayer Tamagotchi blends virtual pet care with action RPG elements. You raise a customizable character inspired by the Demon Slayer universe, balancing daily needs like feeding and cleaning while training for combat. Mini battles let you fight demons using moves from the series. The handheld LCD format keeps interactions quick and portable. This Tamagotchi variant stands out with its licensed roster of characters and settings from the anime. Released in 2020, it targets fans looking for a bite-sized way to engage with the franchise. While simple mechanics dominate, the demonic twist on traditional pet-raising adds a fresh layer. The Nano design fits easily in pockets, making it a niche pick for collectors and casual players alike.
