Demonpact Clarice lets you build a crew of 20+ characters to fight demons and dodge authorities. You play as two nerdy misfits who accidentally summon a demon girl and must find someone else to sacrifice before cops and bounty hunters close in. Combat mixes party-based tactics with no traditional leveling, strengths and weaknesses matter more than stats. The story spirals into chaotic crime-fighting as you balance survival, moral choices, and managing your growing cast of troublemakers. The game stands out for its multiple endings shaped by alliances and betrayals. Players often note the absurd humor and character-driven dialogue tree, which lets you negotiate with angels or double-cross allies. With a 78% on Metacritic, it’s a niche pick for RPG fans who like branching narratives over grinding. The lack of a leveling system keeps focus on strategy and teamwork, though the 2020 release means no major updates since launch.
Two hopeless nerds manage to summon a demon girl, but now they have to find another person to die as her demonic sacrifice instead of themselves. As the story unravels, they end up breaking the law as well, so the cops, bounty hunters, vigilantes, and pretty much everyone want them jailed and/or dead.
