Densha de Go! Nagoya Tetsudou-hen casts you as a train operator navigating the Meitetsu rail network in Japan. You manage schedules across multiple lines including commuter routes, express services, and a monorail system. Progress unlocks new vehicles like the monorail after completing earlier missions. Most text appears in Japanese though menus and station names stay accessible. Gameplay emphasizes timing stops and adhering to signals across varied tracks. This entry introduces monorail controls and a hybrid light rail route that weaves through city streets alongside cars. You must watch traffic lights and yield to vehicles on shared lanes. A distinct horn requirement adds realism before departing stations. The PlayStation original later moved to PC with adjusted difficulty from earlier Densha de Go titles. Unbalance released the PC port December 1 2000 after the January 2000 console launch. A budget repackage hit stores in 2002 as part of the Simple 1500 series.
