Devil Dice tasks you with navigating a grid of giant dice as a mischievous devil. You can run across the dice or the ground beneath them flipping and rolling the blocks to align matching numbers. When enough dice with the same pips form a connected cluster they vanish triggering chain reactions that clear the board. The goal is to methodically rearrange the dice while avoiding being trapped by shifting terrain. Single player puzzles mix with competitive multiplayer modes where timing and strategy determine who stays on top. Created by developer Shift on PlayStation's experimental Yaroze system Devil Dice became a commercial hit after its 1998 release. It sold over a million copies and remains notable for its clever mechanics that blend spatial reasoning with risk management. The PlayStation Classic demo brought it to newer handheld and console generations in 2007. With PlayStation and PSP versions still available it offers a puzzle challenge that feels both nostalgic and sharp.
