About

Devotion puts you in the shoes of Amanda as she returns to an abandoned hotel once owned by her missing father. Five years ago he vanished, leaving her alone with questions that never went away. A letter arrives urging her to meet him there, so you navigate the dark corridors and rooms while uncovering what really happened. The game plays out from a first-person perspective where exploration drives the story forward and every detail in this cult-occupied space matters. The atmosphere leans heavy on dread without needing constant jump scares. Players have noted how the setting shifts from curiosity to horror as secrets about Amanda's family surface. Community discussions often highlight the emotional weight of chasing a father who might not exist anymore. It is a tight narrative experience that focuses on loss and mystery rather than combat or puzzles. The indie developers at Deadbyte Studios crafted something that feels personal and unsettling without relying on big budget effects to make an impact.

Storyline
