This project was meant to be a first-person shooter starring John McClane on the N64. Players would navigate through office buildings and fight off terrorists in locations based on the movie. The development team at Bits Studios built out levels and mechanics before stopping work entirely. No public build exists today, so most people have never seen the actual gameplay in action. The only real evidence of this title comes from old promotional material and industry rumors. Some collectors still hunt for prototype cartridges, but none have been confirmed to work on original hardware. It remains a famous piece of cancelled history rather than a playable experience. Fans of the franchise often wonder what the final product would have looked like if it had launched.
