Die Hard Arcade brings the movie franchise to life with a chaotic beat em up style. You choose between John McClane or Chris Tompkins and clear rooms of White Fang terrorists using fists, feet, or whatever weapon you can grab. The gameplay loops through waves of enemies followed by big boss fights that range from human thugs to spider robots. Quick time events pop up frequently to add tension during chases or doorways. If you miss the timing there, you might just lose health or trigger an extra fight sequence instead. The game shines because it captures the movie vibe without feeling stiff. Sega AM1 packed in a lot of fun with items like pepper shakers and missile launchers that change how you approach each room. The Saturn port ran well enough to keep the action smooth for single players or duos. It does not hold back on the over-the-top violence either. You can expect to play through several levels before the credits roll, making it a solid pick if you like classic arcade brawlers with a strong theme.
