Digimon Pendulum Ver.20th is a handheld RPG for LCD screens that revamps an early 2000s Virtual Pet. You raise and battle a Digimon by tilting the device left or right to trigger moves and train your partner. The Pendulum system lets you switch between offensive and defensive modes mid fight by flipping the toy. Each unit comes with a set of preloaded Digimon from the original Pendulum line but no single device holds the full roster. This version adds a few new creatures and visuals that pop on the tiny LCD but the core appeal is the same. Fans of classic Digimon pets appreciate the physical charm and the challenge of collecting multiple units to access every monster. With over 40 Digimon across all devices it becomes a puzzle to figure out which models have the best partners.
