About

Digimon: Quest to Save the Net is a browser-based action game where players control either Agumon or Tentomon to battle through digital landscapes. The goal is to stop Infermon’s attack on the internet before he causes irreversible damage. Gameplay involves navigating side-scrolling levels filled with enemies using basic attacks and limited special moves. Players can collect power-ups to upgrade their Digimon’s abilities though the simple controls and straightforward mechanics make it accessible for quick sessions. The game’s main hook was its tie-in with the 2000 Digimon movie allowing players to earn high scores on the now-defunct Fox Kids website. It also came bundled with physical copies of the film on VHS and DVD. While the graphics and level design feel dated by today’s standards the nostalgic charm and direct connection to the franchise resonate with longtime fans. Community archives estimate over 100000 unique players tried it during its peak. No modern remasters or ports exist making it a rare relic of early 2000s Digimon media.

Storyline

In the game, Infermon is wrecking havoc on the internet and Taichi "Tai" Kamiya and Koushiro "Izzy" Izumi must battle him in order to save the world. They do so by sending their partners Agumon and Tentomon into the net to fight.
