Disney's Donald Duck Goin Quackers is a side scrolling platformer where Donald chases down stolen blueprints to rescue Daisy from a magician. Each level drops you in a new location filled with obstacles and enemies. You bounce between screens collecting pieces of the teleporter plans while avoiding traps and squishing foes. The controls feel tight for a Game Boy Color game with responsive jumps and Donald's signature grumpy attitude in every flap. The game leans into Donald's brash personality with goofy set pieces and cartoonish hazards. Bright 2D visuals pop on the small screen especially for 2000 releases. While not a major hit it offers a solid 80s styled platforming challenge with a duck in a towel. A quick run through 30 levels that hits nostalgia notes for older Disney fans.
