Displaced is a survival strategy game where you guide a group of noncombatants through a war-ravaged landscape. You manage resources, navigate dangerous terrain, and make split-second decisions about who to trust or fight. Every interaction with other survivors carries risk, trading supplies might secure allies or invite betrayal. The group’s health, morale, and supplies deplete over time forcing you to prioritize who gets food, medicine, or shelter. Combat isn’t about skill but calculation: do you conserve ammo by hiding or risk violence to clear a path? The game’s tension comes from its unflinching focus on civilian survival. With 31 achievements and an average 8.5% unlock rate it rewards careful planning over aggression. The rarest trophy "Happy ending?" sits at 2.7%, a nod to how often players fail to get everyone out alive. No combat tutorials no heroics just the cold math of keeping people breathing in a world that wants them dead. The Mac and PC version runs lean with no multiplayer but the difficulty spikes sharply after mid-game resource shortages making it a tough sell for casual players.

Storyline

They lived normal lives in a small city in the heart of a prosperous country. They never knew that occasional clashes between separatists and the government might dissolve into armed conflict until it all went heels over head. Now they're caught in the middle of war zone as a deadly conflict turns the country into a wasteland. They aren't soldiers, and they aren't warriors. But they are going to survive. Your mission: lead a group of civilians out of the war-torn country. This won't be easy. You'll be able to avoid the battlegrounds but not other survivors, squads, gangs and hordes - and you'll never know what their intentions are. Your choices will include hiding or attacking, and negotiating or engaging in trade, but you'll always want to think twice since the lives of the entire group will be at stake.
