Dog In A Box lets you play as a toy dog craftsman creating custom pups for bizarre clients in oddball locations. Using a virtual reality interface you sculpt and assemble four-legged companions from randomized parts. Each order brings new size color and ability combinations to balance. The challenge comes from fitting dogs into tight spaces or matching specific traits while managing limited resources. Simple controls let you rotate and place components but the difficulty ramps up as you progress through increasingly strange requests. This indie strategy title launched in 2019 and has since developed a niche following for its creative constraints. The PC version focuses entirely on single-player with no multiplayer options. Players appreciate the tactile building mechanics and the way each session feels distinct.
