About

Dominos is a digital version of the classic tile-laying game. You start by selecting seven tiles without seeing them. The player who gets the double-six tile goes first. On each turn you have to match your tile to the numbers at either end of the growing line. If you can't play a tile you draw a new one from the remaining pool. The goal is to get rid of all your tiles while blocking your opponent’s options. The game runs on the Apple II and plays out as a single-player challenge against an AI opponent. The blind tile selection adds a layer of luck and risk. Since you don't see your initial hand you have to adapt as the game unfolds. The AI follows basic domino rules but doesn't use advanced strategies. Released in 1982 the game reflects early computer adaptations of traditional board games. With simple mechanics and no frills it’s a straightforward test of tile management and timing.
