About

This canceled title was meant to be an educational music experience for the Family Computer. Players would control Donkey Kong and his son while learning about rhythm and sound. The project aimed to join Popeye no Eigo Asobi and Donkey Kong Jr. Math as part of Nintendo's early push into edutainment software. It relied on the classic characters to teach musical concepts through simple gameplay designed for kids. Nothing actually exists to play since the game never left the planning stage in 1983. We only know about it from a Japanese handbill and magazine ads that listed it alongside other launch titles. No code or screenshots have ever surfaced to show how the mechanics worked in practice. It remains one of those rare lost games where you can only guess what the final product would have looked like based on its name and the era it was announced for.
