Donuts 'N' Justice drops you in a neon-soaked 1980s city where you and a partner swing into action as over-the-top cops. The gameplay is a straightforward but zippy 2D shooter with rapid-fire mechanics and simple controls. You'll zip left and right blasting gangs and corrupt officials while dodging bullets. The single-player campaign has you completing set-piece missions, while co-op and multiplayer modes let you team up or take on friends. The whole thing plays like a side-scrolling arcade cabinet brought to life. The game leans hard into its retro aesthetic with pixelated graphics and synth-heavy music. Its co-op mode is a highlight, making it easy to pick up and play with others. While the 2016 release date means it's been around a while, the arcade-style action holds up for quick sessions. Available on nearly every major platform including Switch, it's a portable blast for fans of old-school shooting.
