"Doodle Derby is a great indie game, and as you can see in the video I thoroughly enjoyed playing it and keep going back for more, dam those medals are addictive! For that reason I award it the Thumb Culture Gold Award!"

About

Doodle Tanks lets you build and tweak tank designs using a simple physics-based editor. You connect parts like treads, guns, and engines to create vehicles that can roll, shoot, and survive obstacles. Each level challenges you to balance weight, power, and structure while testing your creations in mini battles or traversal puzzles. The focus is on quick iteration and seeing how slight adjustments break or fix your designs. The game leans into creative problem solving without the complexity of deeper sim mechanics. While it doesn’t reinvent the wheel, fans of the Doodle God series might appreciate the hands-on tinkering. JoyBits keeps it light and accessible across multiple platforms, though the single-player scope means no competitive modes or long-term progression.

Another Doodle God clone masquerading as a game. The art style is... cartoonish? Which I guess is cute if you're six. Puzzle mechanics are basic, like mixing colors but with tanks. Simulator part feels like a spreadsheet I fell asleep on. Indie? Hardly. It’s just the same formula...
