Doom & Destiny Worlds is a turn-based RPG with co-op at its heart. Four players share a screen for exploration and combat where anyone can jump into a battle or drop out mid-fight without derailing the action. You roam open worlds to track down three overpowered bosses while building gear from 20+ materials. Crafting defines progression more than raw levels, equipping a stone helm boosts defense but demands strength to wear while a crystal variant boosts mana instead. Each world scales enemy power to your party’s level but locks harder areas until you gear up properly. The game’s split-screen co-op lets friends jump in and out of turn-based fights without pausing exploration. Crafting depth comes from combining materials with blueprints to tweak stat boosts and gear usability. Though it launched in 2020 with mixed reviews, fans highlight the flexibility of building parties around craft choices and the charm of asymmetrical gear roles. Playable on Switch and consoles with local co-op in mind.
