Dr. Sbaitso is a DOS-era program that masquerades as a therapy session. You chat with a cartoonish head that offers looping, half-baked advice on topics like love and work. The “AI” runs on a handful of prewritten phrases, cycling through them with increasing repetition. Your responses have no impact on the conversation, which meanders between pseudo-profound and outright absurd. It plays like a primitive chatbot trapped in a feedback loop. Released in 1991 as a Sound Blaster card demo, it’s now a cult relic of early PC experimentation. The lack of real interactivity makes it more curiosity than challenge, but its deadpan delivery and 90s VHS aesthetic charm retro fans. With no scoring or goals, it’s best treated as a novelty.
