You’re armed with a crossbow and a holy water flask in this fast paced arcade shooter. Wave after wave of zombies ghouls and feral beasts swarm your position as you pick off targets and manage limited resources. The challenge ramps up with new enemy types and tighter corridors forcing quick reflexes and smart shot placement. Each level mixes ranged and melee threats with occasional boss encounters to keep the pressure high. Released in 2010 the game ran on PS3 Wii and portable systems with touch screen support on iOS and DSi. While not a critical darling it carved out a niche with its frantic action and simple mechanics. Players appreciate the varied enemy types and the tight control scheme that lets you dodge and shoot on the fly. The single player campaign offers around four hours of undead chaos with optional score attack modes for replay value.
