Dragon Knight is a first-person RPG where you navigate a fantasy world as Garaden, a knight tasked with rescuing a captured princess from a dragon lord. The game splits its gameplay between menu-driven exploration in towns and 3D maze navigation inside a cursed tower. Battle random enemies in turn-based combat while collecting items and upgrading gear. The story follows a king exiled by the villain Darklarza, who now must rely on his most trusted knight to reclaim his throne and free his daughter. The game stands out for its adult themes, featuring enemies designed as attractive, scantily clad women and several explicit scenes. Released in 1989, it launched ELF Corporation’s erotic RPG series, blending dungeon crawling with risqué content long before the genre became mainstream. Its 3D tower maze was technically ambitious for the era, though the game remains obscure outside niche retro circles. Available on multiple Japanese platforms, it’s a curious artifact of early 90s RPG experimentation.
In the kingdom of Strawberry Fields, a place inhabited only by women, the Goddess' Tower has protected the land and its people for generations. Then one day, the monstrous Dragon Knights, corrupted by evil and led by the demon Gazelbaan, descended upon the tower, and the people of Strawberry Fields suddenly find themselves threatened by his army of monsters, who have turned the goddess Aquarina to stone and captured the warrior women, demanding the six gems that are a source of magical power of the goddess to be delivered to them or else they would kill their hostages. Answering the plea for help from Queen Luna, the young warrior and traveler Yamato Takeru takes them on.
