Dreadweave is a survival shooter set in a decaying Soviet town where every shadow feels alive. You scavenge weapons and supplies while being hunted by a creature that mirrors your pulse, forcing you to balance combat and stealth. When you die you don’t stay dead, you respawn in a warped version of the world where physics and logic have flipped creating new challenges and routes. The game cycles between tense hide-and-seek moments and desperate gunfights as you piece together how to break the cycle. The game’s strongest moments come from its unsettling atmosphere and the way death reshapes the environment. Players report high replay value as each run introduces fresh obstacles and perspectives. The Soviet setting feels genuinely creepy with decaying architecture and cryptic lore scattered throughout. While some find the controls clunky the tight loop of dying learning and retrying keeps most engaged for hours. A vocal group on forums calls it the most unnerving survival loop since 2013’s Slender Man reboot.
