Drill Core is a strategy game where you run a planet-mining operation. You manage teams of workers digging through alien worlds while balancing research, resource extraction, and base defense. Every choice matters: push production to meet quotas or allocate time to upgrade defenses against hostile creatures. The game forces you to weigh efficiency against worker safety in a system that often feels like a ticking clock. What stands out is the pressure system. Your Sector Manager constantly checks in, adding urgency to every decision. The minimalist art style keeps focus on the tension of managing limited resources under time constraints. Coming July 17, 2025, on PC and Switch, it offers a tight loop of planning and adaptation. Early builds show players struggle with the balance between profit and survival, making it a lean but compelling experience for strategy fans.

Storyline

As a Platform Manager at DrillCore, you'll oversee a dedicated team of miners, carriers, and guards. Your mission? Navigate them through perilous missions to extract vital minerals and power our drill platform. Every strategic decision will test your planning and resource management skills. You’ll report directly to your Sector Manager, he will make sure you keep the operation running smoothly, whatever the pressure you’re under.
