You play a pilot in the United Peace Force, a global military group tracking down a drug cartel. The story kicks off after a peace convoy gets ambushed in Columbia, linking the attack to a hidden base in Libya. Most of your time is spent flying a dropship, switching between hover mode for ground assaults and flight for long-range missions. You carry weapons and cargo but also jump out to fight on foot or drive tanks. The campaign has 20 missions that mix air and ground combat. You can upgrade your dropship between missions, choosing between attack, defender, or transport models. The PlayStation 2 version launched in 2002 and focuses on tactical planning over fast-paced action. Some players remember it for the strategic depth, though it doesn’t show up much on modern rating sites. If you like managing logistics in a military setting, this one has a niche appeal.
