Dungeon Hunter: Alliance is an action RPG that blends fast combat with character progression. You control a warrior slashing through hordes of enemies in a fantasy world, using a mix of melee attacks and magic. The single-player campaign follows a straightforward hero's journey while the optional co-op mode lets you team up with others for shared challenges. Combat feels responsive but leans heavily on button mashing with limited tactical depth. The game adds multiplayer to the 2009 Dungeon Hunter formula and includes PlayStation Move support for motion controls. While not fresh, the cooperative play adds replay value for some. Community feedback shows a split between players who appreciate the polished combat and those who find the story thin. Available on PS3 and iOS since 2011 it remains a solid but unspectacular entry in the hack-and-slash genre.
