Duplexer lets you reshape your surroundings to solve tricky puzzles and navigate tricky terrain. By shifting walls floors and ceilings you create new paths or fix broken ones using physics based logic. Each level demands spatial awareness and trial and error as you figure out how to manipulate the environment to reach the exit. The controls are tight but the puzzles grow complex fast mixing platforming jumps with environmental rearrangement. Player forums note the game’s emphasis on pure problem solving over flashiness. With 50 levels and a steep difficulty curve it’s a title that lingers in your brain during breaks. Released in 2016 it still holds up as a solid indie exercise in creative constraints. The lack of hand holding means frustration is part of the package but so is the satisfaction of unlocking a clever solution.
