A remake of the PSP game "Earth Defense Force 2 Portable", that was a port of the Japanese PlayStation 2 game "Earth Defense Force 2" which was called "Global Defence Force" in Europe and didn't receive a release in North America on that platform.

Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders From Planet Space features four-player online co-op, an entirely new Air Raider class, and a new English dub.
