About

You play a kid navigating a row of shops to grab items from your list. Click to enter stores, pick the right product, and match it to your needs. Later rounds add budgeting, you have to check prices and decide if you can afford what you need. But keep an eye out for a mischievous gorilla who’ll leap into your cart if you’re not paying attention. Once he’s onboard, you can’t stop at any stores until you take him all the way home. The game’s charm comes from its simple yet clever roadblock design. The gorilla mechanic turns a straightforward errand into a tense, backtracking chore, forcing you to split focus between shopping and defense. With its stripped-down point-and-click framework and basic math challenges, it feels like an early experiment in educational gaming. Released in late 1988, it ran on Mac, DOS, and Apple II, making it one of the first titles to test casual problem-solving in a retail sandbox.

Storyline

Your goal is to make your way down Easy Street, finding and purchasing each of the five items on your shopping list. But watch out for Knuckles, the pesky gorilla! She'll try to sneak aboard your wagon, and you won't be able to get into stores where animals aren't allowed! Then you'll have to take her all the way back home before you can continue your journey.
