About

Eiyu*Senki - The World Conquest mixes turn-based strategy with visual novel storytelling and resource management. You play a nameless hero thrust into a world where historical and mythological figures, reimagined as stylized maidens, clash over territory and power. Command units in tactical battles, build settlements, and navigate dialogue-driven narratives to expand your influence. The game balances base-building mechanics with grid-based combat, letting you customize troops and exploit terrain for strategic advantage. The quirky character designs and layered storytelling set it apart. Fans praise its blend of humor and depth, though the 2012 release feels dated compared to its 2016 Japan-exclusive sequel, which added new systems and content. With over 100 hours of gameplay reported by players, it appeals to fans of deep strategy and narrative-driven RPGs. Available on PC and PlayStation platforms, it’s a niche title with a dedicated following.

Storyline

In a world where powerful nations run rampant and heroes battle one another for supremacy, the great nation of Britannia seeks to unite the world through peaceful means while the European Union has adopted an aggressive policy and the Seafaring Nation of Vinland thrives on pillage and plunder. Far in the east, the small nation of Zipang is stuck fast in a quagmire of civil unrest. In the midst of all this, our memory-loss stricken main character has a fateful meeting with a Hero of Yamatai, Himiko. Together they settle Zipang’s internal disputes and set off into a world covered with the burning embers of war.
