Elemental War is an indie strategy game that flips tower defense on its head by letting you weaponize fire, water, earth, and air. You build and upgrade defenses by strategically placing elemental nodes that interact in chain reactions. Monsters march in from multiple dimensions each with distinct weaknesses and attack patterns. The single player campaign has you mastering combinations while online modes let you face off or team up with others in competitive or co op play. Since release on July 19 2019 this PC and console hybrid has found a niche with its deep mechanics and cross platform support. With PlayStation 4 Xbox Series X and PC versions plus Linux and Mac ports it draws a broad player base. Community created maps and mods keep the content fresh while leaderboards track high scores across all modes. The asymmetrical dimension system adds unexpected twists to every match. Available on six platforms with active modding tools.
