You take the wheel of a British Jeep in North Africa 1942 fighting behind enemy lines. One crew member handles driving while the other picks off Axis forces with grenades or a bazooka. Each mission mixes open road chases with sudden firefights as you dodge mines and outmaneuver German patrols. The gunner can switch weapons mid-drive but no character feels truly distinct beyond stat differences. The simultaneous driving and shooting controls feel responsive even by modern standards. While the five gunner options offer minor playstyle tweaks none become memorable. With 15 single player missions the campaign is short but briskly paced. Most reviews from 2002 highlight the smooth mechanics but note the lack of multiplayer or vehicle variety. Still holds up as a quick blast of wartime action.
