You’re stranded in a dense fogbound forest with no memory of how you got there. End of the Road VR drops you into this eerie setting where every creak and whisper feels close enough to touch. Using VR controls you fumble with your surroundings, flickering flashlights rusted tools and whatever debris lies scattered. Survival isn’t about combat or puzzles but staying calm as the environment itself feels like a slow tightening noose. The game leans hard into atmospheric tension with sound design that makes your pulse spike at random noises. While the 2-3 hour runtime and minimal story might leave some wanting more it’s still a tightly wound showcase of VR’s ability to unsettle. A smaller title from 2017 but its effective use of claustrophobic design and sensory dread lingers.
