You play as Namgoong Gunn a hotheaded teen trying to leave his rough past behind. The game follows his clumsy attempts to start fresh when a stolen wallet drags him into a street brawl against a crime syndicate. The DOS beat-em-up lets you punch kick and combo through crowds of goons in side-scrolling schoolyard alleys and neon-lit streets. Simple controls focus on raw action with occasional story breaks that mimic the comic panels the game adapts. Based on Myung Jin Lee’s popular webtoon this 1997 title is one of the earliest Korean-made brawlers. While the pixel art and sidekicks feel dated by today’s standards fans of old-school DOS fighters might appreciate the unpolished energy.
