ER-cade turns your PC into a medical playground where you play doctor with a twist. You’ll dissect the human heart pixel by pixel causing blockages triggering arrhythmias and generally breaking things to learn how they work. Progress through mini challenges to unlock tools and techniques then switch to arcade mode where you race against time and opponents in high score battles. The controls are tight and the science is simplified but satisfyingly hands-on. What makes it stick is the oddball charm. Gnome Lab Games leans into the macabre humor of turning heart disease into a skill tree. Leaderboards add a competitive edge though the real appeal is in the weird satisfaction of mastering something so vital yet fragile. Early access players report it’s strangely addictive especially during late-night study sessions. Coming May 23 2025 this one’s a pulse-pounding oddity worth checking out.
