About

You wake up in a VR training sim for a company that probably shouldn’t exist. Ergo casts you as a new agent undergoing drills in surreal office spaces where every room feels like a logic trap. Solve puzzles by manipulating environments, avoiding hazards, and figuring out how floating platforms, shifting walls, and button-based chains work. The game leans heavily into motion controls for PC VR, making physical interactions feel necessary. Each level ramps up the complexity with new mechanics while keeping the core loop of trial and error. The real hook is how Ergo messes with expectations. Early levels mimic mundane office layouts but gradually warp into abstract test chambers. Players report the transition between familiar and bizarre is disorienting in a good way. While the story beats are sparse, the environmental storytelling through broken UI and cryptic notes adds texture. With a 72% positive review rate on Steam, most praise the tight puzzle design and VR polish. Just don’t expect plot depth, this is all about the head-scratching moments.

Storyline

You have started your new job at a company called "Ergo". This company consists of secret agents, however before they can send you out for your first mission, you need to go through training... After being loaded into the wrong application, Ergo's enviroments are simulated through Virtual Reality with the main focus of button based testing, with each test varying in difficulty and uniqueness. This will be your training ground, getting you equipped with movement, puzzles, enviroment hazzards with many obstacles and new mechanics being introduced along the way; including the merge between a old virtual office and a testing enviroment, who knows maybe you'll see it yourself...
